Leland Rock is a veteran at representing historic Native American figures for the camera. Traditional roles began for him with the filming of the movie “Little Big Man” when he was 14 years old. His presentation of Crazy Horse at the Reenactment has drawn attention from around the world. He has appeared in documentaries for the BBC, A&E, and the Turner network, including BBC’s “Legacy of the Big Horn.”

The Rock family follows the proud tradition of the warriors they are descended from. Each of their children has been given their Indian name in the tradition of the Crow. His wife Delana and their children Arlene, Francis and Ivan play the roles of the village people. Their sons Elijah and Leland Jr. are warriors like their father.
