about Custer's Last Stand Reenactment

1. How do I get there?

The Reenactment site is six miles west of Hardin, Montana on old Highway 87. The easiest way to reach the site during the event is to take the Hardin exit of Interstate 90, then follow the arrows and signs to the Reenactment.

2. How can I get tickets and how much do they cost?

Tickets cost $16 for adults, $7 for children, children under 5 and under free. They may be ordered by calling (888) 450-3577, or ordered online by clicking the "Order Online" button above. Special rates are available for groups of 10 or more.

3. What will the weather be like?

There's a saying in Montana -- "If you don't like the weather, just wait five minutes." While that is a bit of an exaggeration, June weather can be astonishingly changeable. We suggest you come prepared. June is usually quite warm (80-85 degrees) with thundershowers toward evening. Checking the local weather forecast before coming to the show will help you make clothing decisions based on current information.

4. Why can't I take videos of the event?

Video cameras are not allowed during Custer's Last Stand Reenactment because it is a copyrighted performance. Photographs take for personal use only are encouraged, and after the show the Reenactors will be available to have their pictures taken with the audience. A video of the performance is also available for sale at the site, through the Chamber office or online.

5. Can I reserve a seat?

Seating for Custer's Last Stand Reenactment is in open grandstands. Seating is on a first-come, first served basis, but there is no "bad seat" at the site.

6. Is the Reenactment handicapped accessible?

Custer's Last Stand Reenactment makes every effort to accommodate visitors who have limitations. Handicapped rest rooms are available, as well as a special area for those in wheel chairs. The roads are gravel and pathways packed dirt, however, so expect less than smooth terrain for wheelchair passengers.
